  • 7/10 Plastic Boats and Double Limits

Since the tides dropped I have been meaning to make a serious try at gigging. My buddy had his first kid due the next day (actually inducing tomorrow morn), so I figured I would hit him up for a late night session since his free time may be severely reduced, LOL. He had never got a flattie limit, so I told him we are gonna do it seriously, which means bringing the yaks to reach other areas not available for walk-ins.

It took two stops, but we pulled it off in about 4 hours. Water was nice clarity in the protected spots. Tide was a good level for gigging the grasslines. Most were ~16" and we both got a few big girls.

                      Very cool!
Bruce and I almost did a walk-in gigging recently.

The kayaking to a protected area adds breadth to the potential areas.
