  • Deck cleaner

Does anyone have any advice on a cleaner to remove the dingy water stains on the boat deck and brighten back to white. I need something that wont hurt the gel coat. Or Is there even such a thing?

Go to dollar general and buy a green bottle of "the works". It's right next to the CLR (calcium, lime and rust) cleaner. Costs a dollar and works like a champ on brown water stains and rust stains.
      Shut up and FISH!!

Both work good, just wet your trailer first, then rinse good. I prefer "The Works".

Picked up a cheap scrub brush from the Tool Shack on 646 near Bacliff and tried it. Sprayed the stuff on and just a quick scrub to break up anything that was on the surface then rinsed it off. Hull had all the stains off and turned white like the topside of the boat. And talk about a shine!

Be careful with the stuff as it's pretty potent if you use it straight!
Be sure and wax after using. Stuff is great but strips all of your wax when it does it's thang. Yellow will come back real quick without the wax.

I'm confused after reading this thread??? Is this about a deck cleaning formula or a trailer cleaning formula???
