  • Wanting to get started

Hello, New to fishing in the area. Dont have much experience. Been saltwater water flyfishing for bonefish and Permit in Belize for two days years ago. I have done a little flyfishing for trout in Colorado and Montana but would love to get back into it down here. My understanding is that an 8wt is the best choice around here. Dont want to spend a fortune but would appreciate any advice about equipment, where to go or any other advice. Thanks. Troy

Shoot Capt. Scott Sparrow down in the Lower Laguna Madre an email.

He has a couple of Temple Fork rods for sale and will give a great deal on a slightly used one. (includes lifetime warranty card)
      I recently bought the TiCr 8wt, a $210 rod, for $85 shipped!
