  • Redfish from the porch.

I woke up Saturday morning, feeling lazy. I sat on the front porch of the camp and tossed out a dead shrimp on a shad rig under a cork next to the marsh. BAM! 24 inch red. My first keeper from the porch. Pretty cool.

Water was really dirty all weekend, so I didn't fish much after that. It was a perfect dinner on the halfshell.
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
