Threw the kayak in this morning and fished some coves along the south shoreline. Went back into a bayou in search for reds but all I could find were a few 16" trout on topwaters. Figured with the low tides I would try the guts closer to the mouths of the coves. Paddled for about 30 minutes until I found a fresh slick. Found a good school and caught about 5 trout with maybe 2 or 3 of them keepers. Got a call from our neighbor and had to move the boat out of his driveway so I had to call it a day around 8. All fish were released today.

Thanks for the report. Atleast you got to wet a line today. How did the water look w/the winds we have had?

"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Water in the coves was off colored with about 4" of visibility. The deeper water at the mouths had a green tint to it.

I hope I catch a 10 lb trout before I catch a flesh eating bacteria.
