  • Shrimp Victoria

    This is good over rice or as a sauce for grilled fish.You can sub the shrimp for crab or lobster.Add mushrooms etc.


    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
    1 cup (8oz) sour cream
    1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
    1/4 cup or so onions chopped
    1 clove garlic minced
    1 stick of BUTTER (not the other stuff)
    1/2 tbsp flour

    Preperations:

    Melt butter in skillet and saute onions and garlic 3-4 min med-lo heat
    Add shrimp and cook appx 8 min
    Add mushrooms and sour cream and stir continuosly appx 5 min
    Add flour to thicken the mixture
    salt and pepper to taste and a little paprika

    Serve on a bed of white rice

    Unbutton your pants and enjoy!
    Makes about one serving,cause you just can't quit eating it

      Made this a few days ago and served it over grilled warsaw and rice pilaf. Off the hook! Also a very easy recipe. Just finished the last of it with some baked trout and I'll be making this one again.

                Try some cornstach disolved in water instead of flour. doesn't lump up as bad Ancient chinese secret!! i added a little white wine right after the onions and let it reduce.
