7/17 - Lower Galveston Bay

Wind: 5-10 knt SW to W (gusts to 15 knt)
Tide: Moderate incoming
Water Clarity: 1 ft
Water Temp: 85 deg F
Water Depth: ~3 ft

Took the day off on Friday and fished the Texas City Dike area with my brother (JQ). Picked up some live bait from Boyds and launched from Dollar in the dark.

Arrived at our spot at first light to a beautiful sight of bait and slicks everywhere. Didn't take long before we had the first keeper in the boat.

JQ had his limit by 8:30 and I was only half way there. Took me 3 more hours for me to finish the deal. Headed back to the ramp with a double MAABL (Most Action Allowed By Law)!!!

This continues to be an awesome year for catching. Tight lines....
