Started out slow. I knew the water was low when I put in at 5:15 AM. Went to my planned spot, and found the water way way low and getting lower (very low tide this morning). Left there, and paddled a mile or so to a draining bayou, paddled up it to a back lake and there they were - busting it up with attitude. Got 3 of them there, then moved to another branch off that bayou and got 3 more. All 22 to 26 inches, but length (and count) doesn't matter when you catch & release.
