  • First post storm trip

Went to one of me favorite spots this afternoon.
Cast netted up a bucket of finger mullet and headed on out.
Wind was a little stiff from ESE, about 8knots.
    Water was brownish.
Spied a bunch of pelicans feeding on something right along a bank.
Eased over there. Discovered it was large white shrimp they were feeding on.
Tossed a finger mullet in there and BAM! Fish on. Slot red.
After that it was a redfish on every bait that made it into that little area.
Final tally: 8 slots, 1 bull, about 20 large rat reds.
Kept me three and released everything else.
    Bite died off about 4pm.
Will try to get some pictures up later.

Was going to go in the morning but now I can sleep late because already got a box of redfish.
