  • Winter Gardens?

Anyone have any winter crops? This is the best time of year if you like leafy greens, carrots, onions, broccoli, and potatoes.

    Ibtsoom sure does!

Oh wait! You said "crops" not "craps". My bad!
    He's got those too.

My dad got lucky this fall. His jalapeños and tomatoes made it long enough for his fresh cilantro to grow. Plus my brother grows key limes and they ripen in the fall so we had some of the best salsa. There is nothing like fresh off the plant ingredients.

          Nice Bruce.

I have tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kohlrabi, greens, carrots, onions, strawberries, bunch of different herbs, celery and I just dug all of the sweet potatoes.
          I've got a gardening affliction.

very nice!! I put up 8 quarts of marinara yesterday. I'm getting kinda tired of tomatoes. I think the cold finished em off along with my peppers.

My plants are still going in Galveston. Our lemons usually don't ripen until January or February but are ready to go right now.

I'll be over to get me some. Like to quarter them up for my iced tea and squeeze a few out over my trout fillets. Where's the tree, Bruce?
