High fence and cold steel spear......A far cry from "Native American" that he claims in the video. Now if it was fair chase and a sharp stick or a shaft with a stone point, I would say: Right on dude!

I watched that clip a few times and the first thing I noticed was when he pulled the spear out of the elk, it had not penetrated very far, definitely not far enough to make a clean kill. Then I noticed what appears to be another wound on the elk just back from where he pulled the spear out. From the looks of it, the elk laid down and someone shot him with a gun. I've got to call BS on this whole thing, but it was a good idea for a filmed hunt.
