Fished Bastrop Bay Saturday morning and caught a total of 18 trout. I box 10 and my buddy caught eight. All the fish were caught between 6:00am & 7:15am while the tide was coming in. Once the tide went slack it was over. Fish were caught on Pink Skitterwalk and Morning Glory Salt Water Assassins. We were wading shell

Biggest trout was a little over 23" and the rest were 16" to 19"

Yep some times you practice casting, and sometimes you parctice setting the hook. Like dbarham said, we run past them.......if we would have hit some of the shells in Chocolate we might have had a haul like this.
