  • Marsh report 6/13/13

Fished the south shore marsh Thursday early. Caught a 24" red crawling through the grass about an hour after first light. Let her go to fight another day. Tide was low but incoming. Had another one on, but managed a long distance release.

One red on a fly has got to be 10x better than catching one any other way

      Nice one jim

Well Done! What pattern fly were you throwing? Did you tie it yourself?

Yes, I tied it. It's just a very simple near enough almost shrimp looking modified clouser pattern.
