Aransas Pass 7-18-13

We finally got some badly needed rain on shore last night and this morning, my guage showed a little over 2'' and it is still misting. Corpus and Aransas Bay has had some nice showers the last couple of days. We had a couple of hours of thunder and lighting so I cancelled my trip for today and the weather should break for the weekend.
Fishing has been good for trout so far this month, with a few reds and some really nice mangroves mixed in.
The rest of this month and next should be good for trout, reds, black drum.
