  • Tomato Plants in the Fall???

Anyone here grow tomato plants this time of year. The House Chronicle had an artilce written a few weeks ago saying
that August 15th was the day to plant.
I haven't found anyone selling plants locally, but did find one site online.

    TIA

    Tomato Plants in the Fall???

Check with Phil Ortiz. He's usually got heirlooms started.

Talked to Phil just a few weeks ago - He'll have some awesome heirlooms ready to go on Sept 1. Aug 1 is still way too hot for plants - I would imagine they're talking about seeds at this point.
      Shut up and FISH!!

I think you are correct about the seeds .

Phil's plants are awesome. I had gotten three different types from him and they were all good yielding.

Found a good selection of tomatoes at Maas Nursery in Seabrook.
