So what time is the best time to fish in the lights at night? I'll be in a sort of cul de sac cove in Offats Bayou so there cant be that much tide movement through there can there be?

Overhead or underwater lights? Overhead, when you start hearing the popping. Underwater, when you see the shadows. The fish seem to stay away from the Underwater lights when there are a lot of people down here, but after midnight they seem to come in. I guess it is the pressure or noise.

By the way, not sure what you are going to use, but make it light. You don't want to chunk a top water or popping cork, it will spook them. I use a spoon or a salt/pepper Cocahoe minnow on a 1/8 jig head.
