    Hello everyone,

Still on my quest for a shallower draft boat/.skiff. Do you guys have any input on Mitzi and Mowdy Skiffs? Thanks for your help.

I assume you are looking at the T-16 Mowdy, as the Mitzi's are flats skiffs (15'-17"). If your going to be fishing the Galveston area, are you sure you want an open console boat like the Mitzi. Mowdy's are nice IMHO. If you are looking at the T-16, then give the 16' Tran Cat a hard look. That boat fishes bigger than most 16's.

In the early 90's I was in Port Mansfield and took my boat to Landcut and a big storm came up-I had a 18-20 mile run and was soaked, beaten and bilge ran continuously. When I got into Mansfield Harbor, I saw two GW come in on a 20' Mowdy-they were dry and ride looked comfy. At that point, I figured Mowdy had to be a helluva boat. Check them out.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
