What is the usual culprit if the light fails to turn on? There is a light sensor on top that I've had to clean the contacts on a couple of times. This equipment came with the house we bought, so I don't have any paperwork on it. I called the company that built it and they want me to send the whole unit to them .....my schedule doesn't permit that. Trying to trouble shoot it myself. Thanks in advance.

Rookie fisherman that don't know that there is a cord underwater and they hook it. I would try the photocell first, but your bulb might have gone out. My went out last year and I still have not replaced it because I don't want people fishing on our bulkhead. By the way, depending on how long your light has been out, you need to pull up the bulb and clean all the barnacles off.LIVIN THE SALT LIFE
