  • Attempted Halloween Blast and Cast

Well the blast part didn't work out too well. I knocked down the only one that came in and it fell in the grass and couldn't be recovered after extensive searching Next time I will keep my eyes glued on where they fall and charge it like a dog (as well as try to set up my spread so they are away from grass).

Luckily the fish were stacked up due to the low tide and we had a great time landing 8 or so keeper reds and 6 flounder.

Can you spot the Halloween "Evil Eye" red?

    Halloween spotless "ghost" red.

3" pearl gulp shrimp. The marshes are chock small white shrimp right now. If you wait for the bottom end of a falling tide, all the shrimp are flushed into the cuts and holes, and the reds and flounder are all over them.
