  • Tip of the Week - Fluoro to Braid Knot

Here is a knot that I've come up with that is working really well for connecting your Fluorocarbon leaders to your Braid line. It is really a modification to an Albright knot used mainly in flyfishing.

That's a reverse Albright aka Crazy Alberto. I used it a long time, but switched to a double Uni and have fewer breaks-offs.

I used the double Uni for a long time but had break off problems, haven't since I started using this knot. I know I'm pounding this knot bass fishing and the line will break before the knot will fail if it is tied right.
