The wind was light this morning and the water had cooled a little bit last night. So I went with a spinner start. It was probably my 4th cast when I got my first bite off a point. I caught a few more small large mouth for the next hour on the spinner then the bite shut off, so I switched to a road runner with a wedge tail because of all the small fry in the water and that was the ticket.

I caught 6 bass on the road runner before the tide started to move in and then the bass shut off completely. I kept at it for about an hour longer and the only thing I got to bite once the tide came in was dink trout.
