  • Though I had a saddleblanket

    Sure fooled me

Got into a whole school of 'em in the GSC. One every cast. They definentely are cool looking, and put up a hard fight. Very trippy how those ribbonfish can swim backwards. I'd have it hanging vertically with the head out of the water, and it would dive back down in reverse! Out of a few, these are the biggest ones I've caught, but I know they get a lot larger. Too bad it ain't kingfish season.

            They taste like chicken.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Man those things thrive at the surfside jetties. I caught a few trout this summer that had them curled up in their stomachs..

Fun & a pain to catch but they make great bait.
