Hopefully the day will soon come when we have that choice for a natural gas provider.

Eggs hould never be cooked on anything. They should be fed to animals to make something edible out of them.
I have Centerpoint too. When the bill comes in, I pay 3X the amount and I'm good. I had a rowe with them long ago. Now I just over-pay and the credit goes to the next bill. My last bill was $2.35 because of my credit. I was feeling rich, so I paid $50. I actually save a lot of checks and stamps this way.
IMO, gas is the way to go for heat, cookin', and hot water. For the dryer, I like electric. I flat out can't cook on an electric range. You can't tell how hot it is.
It would be nice to have some competition among providers. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
