Fishing set up rod/reel combo.. what you think?

I am in market for a new set up for an "all in one" go to combo. Red and trout fishing.

After looking at all the reviews and trying to stay to a $300 budget I thought about picking this up:

St. Croix Mojo inshore 7'6 medium action

Shimano Stradics FJ3000

What are your thoughts?
