  • First sailfish

We are down in Zihuatanenjo Mexico with some friends and hit the blue waters of the pacific today. It was quick start in the early morning, Donna hooked up on this nice Chula and our friends in the another boat hooked up on a Dorado. They lost a sailfish a few minutes later, but I hooked up with this beautiful sail. She was around 100lbs and took a lot of line before I brought her in about 30 minutes later. Zihuatanenjo is a hidden gem, if you need a great guide just send me a message!

No, we used Santigo Olea. Our friends have used him for over 10 years. Laid back and doesn't give up easily.

Thanks everyone. We are having a blast, the guide took us to a locals only beach today about an hour away from town, it was sweet. The Gone coastal post I just did was of that beach.

                          JT,
I would not expect anything less from ya!!! Great food, drinks and people here. Don't go to gulf side of Mexico, try the pacific side and not Cabo (to many tourist)!

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary.
