bastrop/xmas scouting trip

went scouting yesterday just to get a feel of the bays. Put in at Bastrop Marina @ 11am and was out by 2pm. Tried to cast under some birds here and there but no takers. In all it was still productive cause I now have actual berings in a few reefs and now know where not to run. Now if I can only find all of the other ones (LOL). Water was very fresh with a strong outgoing tide. NW wind@ 10-15 water temp 62 deg. And scenery Beautiful as ever.
