Cold water fishing is where its at! I've done some fishing in 0 degree weather in snow etc. its fun!

You might try the National Fly Fishing Museum near Roscoe in upstate New York. If you're really into fly fishing its like a pilgrim going to Mecca. Has multiple exhibits of all the old early American masters, Gordon, Hewitt, Bergman, Wulff, etc. It's located on the scenic, famous Beaverkill and I think now there is a C&R stretch of river where you can fish. If you're as goofy about fly fishing as I am, you will definitely find it interesting. This location is where it all started in America. I was there about 2 months before 9/11 and my wife couldn't hardly believe I wanted to stay there all day. One interesting exhibit is Lee Wulff's complete fly tying table and room reconstructed in total.
