  • 2-6-15 Report

For all you guys/gals fishing tomorrow, I thought I'd try to give you a report of the conditions in East Bay and Dickinson/Kemah. Got out at 7:30 this morning...water has really cleared up and is trout-green, 50.9 degrees. I had a good light NE wind and some moving tide, so I thought I'd do better than I did, but I ain't complaining. I haven't been out since I sprained/cut my wrist doing that header off the front of my boat last week.
Caught 3 trout-lost another at the boat-and a flounder (along with a butt-load of reds-all released) by 10:00 and didn't get a bite after 10....wasted my time from 10 to noon and came on in. Trout were 18-19", had 4 keeper reds from 20-24" (one in the pic) and a bunch of rats around 15-18". South wind tomorrow may make it a little tough for you weekenders, but GOOD LUCK!

Nice trifecta!! You had a great morning, even with a bum wrist.
