Jamin, Keenan, Adam and I made a weekend trip to Lake Palestine. We targeted Crappie staging for the spawn and worked them over for 3 days.

We had a good time with 3 full days on the water.

Nice Job. I have fished that lake before but never done quite that well. Good eats (crappie) there.

I've met some good people up there and they stay on them pretty much year round. The big ones are starting to move in and shouldn't be long until the spawn is in full force.

Nice mess of SLABS! Crappie are my personal favorite eating fish. I do love the shallow water bite jigging for them, when they move up to spawn. I am hoping to get some in the next few weeks!

I grew up fishing lake Palestine. We'd catch White perch (crappie) under the bridge going to coffee city coming out of Noon day and in the north part of the lake. I remember when they built the lake and flooded all that timber. I'm sure y'all and a lot of fun. Where did you stay up there?
