...since it looks like I am going to petty soon have another bumper crop of some dang hot peppers I thought I might as well find something else to do with them other than smoking them and making shake powder/flakes out of them. Found this recipe and it looks to be a winner!
Six baby Portabello Mushrooms
7 Scotch Bonnets (RED is what I Have out the ears!}
1/2 Pound chopped bacon (Pre Cooked}
Philly cream cheese
Extra Sharp Cheddar, grated
Panko bread crumbs
flour
eggs
Mix up the stuffing first well in a bowl
Cut open your (Scotch Bonnet/Habanero) Peppers and remove the seeds for growing next year!
(I cut around the stem and pull it off with the seeds attached.)
Take a spoon and stuff the pepper and roll in a bit of Olive Oil
Roll the pepper in the oil...then the flour...then the Panko crumbs.
Fry them up and be sure and warn your friends that this isn't your regular "Popper"!!
