nice, we went to halls one day a few weeks ago but the water was still not right so we opted for the bay, which wasn't much better.
How far up stream before you run into the bass and
How far is it to chocolate bay from the boat ramp?

You can catch bass north and south from the ramp. I've caught bass up to 2 miles south of the ramp. I think it is about 5 mile or so to the bay, but be careful going through Halls Lake it is really shallow.
