Lake Houston 2/20/2016

Spent the day on Lake Houston practicing for a tournament next weekend. The big girls are starting to move up in to the shallows for the spawn and I had a pretty good day on a Santone Jig and Creme trailer catching them. Didn't catch a large number of fish but those I got to bite were quality fish. Didn't fish a long time and didn't work any one area too hard. Here are some of the better ones I did get in the boat. Hope some of them will bite again for me next weekend.

Bass fishing isn't much different than red and trout fishing most of the time. When they get in tight to cover then it is a bit different and challenging too.
