  • POC Redfish Hunt

Went down Saturday evening to my Brother in-laws place in POC. Left my Babycat in the garage, we took his Flatscat out for the hunt. We put in at Froggies and there was 7 trucks only in the lot, Monday only 1. Needless to say, there was nobody on the water. On Sunday, we got a late start and on our second wade we found 'em, a huge pod of reds on the shoreline, I threw the new plum/char Devil eye paddletail and couldn't get my bait back. We released over 20 fish and kept 6 pretty fish.

By 1:00 we went back to house and grabbed Kevin's son's Airboat and went for a scouting trip thru places I have never seen, very very cool.
I'll try to attach a short video of the airboat experience.

Monday, caught two reds only, weather was awesome, wind started pumping around noon.

I do believe I know exactly where the pic of you on the burnin bar is. Certain times that is a honey hole. When it gets hotter I get off that flat and fish the shelf at the edge of the deeper water.
