  • Galveston Bay 3-15-10

Today started off windy and was windy all day. Fishing was tough with the high pressure. Was able to pick up fish on every stop just lots of dink Trout and some Rat Reds only a few keeper Trout. We did find a nice school of reds in 5-6 ft of water over mud and shell. Only was able to stay on them enough to each hook up until windy pushed us off. During the short time we boated 2 and lost 3 others. All Reds were over 26 with big boy being just under 8 pounds. Jim caught the big red and almost got pulled in. Was a great fight. Jim said it was his first Red and he can’t wait to do it again. Over all was a tough day.

Color of choice was Red Shad and Plum.
