  • spoon fed

    got on the water about 10 am. went to a few of my regular spots and nada. about 1 pm the wind really starts to pick up. so i decide to try to hide from it. i go and duck in behind the geo tube. im in the water by 1:30
    and by 3 ive caught and released 12 redfish. all fish were between 15 and 25 inches. all fish came on a spoon.

                  I was out there it did get pretty nasty. You have to love those redfish they have been a day saver this year.

                        careful around those tubes, that is stingray alley!! Also there is a big bogey on the south west end of the tubes that will reach up and grab your boat on a low tide, maybe a lower unit on a normal tide, it is solid as a rock. Besides destroying a great sand bar and two awesome shell reefs, they also left behind a great bit of snags and debri all around the tubes.
