Took my dentist/neighbor and his two brothers-in-law fishing in the wind on Friday. After his in laws got their licenses at Wally World we got off to an early 9:30 AM start and bucked the wind across the bay to fish Pauls Mott, Long Reef Bend and Splalding Bight. I caught a nice 24" red on the first cast at Pauls Mott and we thought the rodeo had started but that was the only keeper red we put in the box. Caught lots of rats and some keeper sheephead. We fished until we ran out of beer and shrimp and headed in. Great way to spend the day with friends.
