.380 Ammo at Academy

This morning I stoped in Academy and spotted the elusive .380 ammo on the shelf. Picked up 3 boxes for myself

I don't understand why .380 is so scarce-my brother has some on backorder.
can get 9 and .40, but .380 is hard to find.

It is not a high priority caliber Like 9mm, 40, 45

They know there is a need but production takes some time to ramp up as huge orders have to be filled from the Mfgs. of the ammo.

380 is not primary round for milatary or law enforcement, like 9mm, 40 or 45

i have noticed this as well, I had to go to 5 different stores (3 academys) before i could find any 44. each store only has a limited supply. If you find what you are looking for grab as much as you can!
