  • Wet Wading

Is everyone wet wading yet? I hate this time of year when the air is too warm to wear waders and the water is too cold not to wear them.

Has anyone had a problem with the bacteria they talk about after wet wading?

Excellent. You can tell I'm not getting my fishing time in. It's been about 8 weeks since I have had time for a good wade.

                    Nope... THANK GOD!

I was wading the end of 8 mile rd (not down sportsman) and I tripped on a reef I couldnt see, had to put my hand down and cut my thumb on a rock/oyster shell and freaked out. It bled a little but is fine now. I didnt have, but will now get, some BZK packets to clean and some 3M transpore tape to cover for next time it happens

I usually can't stand the coolish water when others can... but I wet waded yesterday just fine. The previous weekend I had to wear a jacket with the wind blowing and getting cold.

Check out the long magellan pants at academy. You can zip off the bottoms and convert them into shorts if you want to.
