  • X-mas Bay 5-24-10

Well I meet Ron Johnson at the spot this mornin for a early mornin wade... I got off of work and pinned the ears back of the Chevy... I made the trip thinkin of nothin but wackin & stackin... The tide was high and a little off color with about 12" of visibility... The wind was pumpin SSE at about 12-20 witch made for a good long cast North and a buckwheat backlash South... There is some positive in a negative situation... Just cast North dummy... LOL I drew first blood with a solid 18" fat trout... Then Ron with a solid one at about 19"... Then Ron hooked up with back to backs with a 20" & another 19" trout... Feeling left out I made a cast while he was stringing his trout to the spot he just hooked up... BAM....!!!! 21" red strung it made 2 more cast and was rewarded with 1 more red... Grand total of 4 trout 2 reds for the day... Its not that time just yet but it is just around the corner... In the water at 7:15am and out at 10:00am...
