Like usual the weatherman is wrong and the wind is still humping. Had to hit some protected honey holes today and we never left our first spot. We caught a few fish on each drift so there was no reason "to leave fish to find fish". Had a really nice couple on the boat who are some serious anglers and are all about the experience rather than the catch. ANy time you get serious anglers that truly enjoy the art of angling then it makes it a great day for the guide and that is exactly what today was. I figured the bite was still a little off from yesterday since we had a South wind all morning at about 16-19 mph so we threw shrimp under a popping cork. We caught a lot of fish and lost a lot also. We had about a 20 minute window during the minor where they went on a serious feeding frenzy but other than that the bite was slow. We fished a sand flat in 2-4 ft of water and it was an excellent and really fun day. I think we ended up cleaning 17 keepers. The bite shut down completely about 11 am for us when that tide slowed down. Tight lines!!
