No it's not guys. It's depth of field/perspective. The guy is holding the snake at least four feet in front of himself on a pole. It's a big rattler probably..... edit to five foot if that.

Thats how Michelle makes all those 15 inch trout appear to be 25 inch trout.

Check the beer can in the photo. just more proof that a guy cant go out in the field or in the water without a beer.

2 Cool deleted the thread I started over there not sure why... I guess they didn't like the dead snake photo... Its legal to kill them in Georgia. Texas is a different story & like I said it was killed in Georgia on a private ranch.

                        Kenny, actual length ~ 6'

The 7' was a guess by another member.

They have killed plenty of 6-7' out there though

15 foot Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake. Largest ever caught on record.

One bite from a snake this large contains enough venom to kill over 40 full grown men.

The head alone is larger than the hand of a normal sized man.

A bite from those fangs would equal being penetrated by two 1/4 inch screwdrivers.

A snake this size has an approximately 5 and 1/2 foot accurate striking distance. (The distance for an average size Rattlesnake is about 2 feet)

Judging by the size of the snake, it is estimated to weigh over 170 pounds.
