Hit Chocolate Last Night 8/13

My father and I hit Chocolate last night after work. He brought dead bait and I had GULP shrimp. We drifted the right-hand shore line along the channel north of the 2004 bridge for about 2.5 hours. My GULP had no takers. His dead bait managed a red, a few surprisingly hard fighting croaker, and a few unwanted hardheads.

A six pack was killed and a few good conversations were had. I plan on being out there Sunday morning with the wife to try the AM bite.

Thanks for the report. It is fun just getting out there. My wife and I were out last weekend and had about the same luck but we still had a blast.
