I stood down last weekend to perform routine maintenance on my boat. This morning I was back at it as if my livelihood depended on it. For the first time in a while I was able to get on a morning bite. The bite was steady until around 9:15 when they shut down completely. Again leaving me one trout shy of a limit. They didn't have a lot of size to them, the largest ones going 18".

I'm going through SERIOUS withdrawals. Don't get me wrong, you and JQ's reports keep me going but y'all are killing me at the same time. I don't know what the **** I'm going to do next spring when y'all are whacking the sows on topwater.

Anyway, I'm back in town a few weeks starting in mid-December. We'll have to hit up East Bay or East Matty fo' sho' and get after them with corkies.
