Hey ya'll,
Again this year I am helping out with an annual Blood Drive and Benenfit for Shriners Hospital. However, Shorty's no longer exists, not this year anyways...
So, we are going to have the benefit at "The Little Doggie".
And... since the closing of our hospital in Galveston we cannot "Officialy" have the benefit for Shriners Burns Hospital, Galveston.
Along with the hospital getting jacked up in the hurricane, our Temple, El Mina Shrine, got all jacked up too.
We are desperately trying to get our hosital re-opened, but it is hard to do without a Temple. We have a new temple in the works, and I believe that it will be the old club house ant the GYB. We can lease the building for $1 a year, for the rest of eternity, but we have to do all repairs, etc.
With that said, this years benefit will be for the re-build of the El Mina Shrine.
Now for the help I need.
I need to come up with a name for the benefit. something that can put the establisment and the goal of the benefit together.
