The surf is back on this morning. DOA's under a popping cork was landing me small specks.

I went out to the rock groin between 53rd and 50th by the San Luis Hotel two night ago, cast netted a bunch of finger mullet then free-lined those with a small split shot, and one pole on top with a popping cork, about half way down the rocks on the west side and caught 6 keeper trout about an hour before sunset, one was about 21". Caught about 10 undersized too. There was a couple times I had two fish on at once. There was little to no surf and there was bait everywhere! Was a good evening, finally didn't get skunked!
