  • Crawfish Boil...

So I spoke with Red Fish Rob over the weekend and seems we might have a Houston venue for over 1,000 LBS of crawfish at a local watering hole

Trying to work out details see if its still a possibility but members have expressed interest in either a Fish Fry, Crawfish Boil or Crab Boil.

I've eaten so much crawfish in my life, I think I are one.

Biggest problem with crawfish here in Texas is this: Texans don't understand that YOU MUST CUT THE FIRE, THROW IN A BAG OF ICE TO STOP THE COOKING PROCESS, AND LET THE BUGS SOAK FOR 20-25 MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and don't be sprinkling seasoning on the AFTER they are cooked. The seasoning is supposed to be on the INSIDE dummies.

Sandy, I agree. Most Texans dont know how to cook them. Luckily, I am not like most Texans!

                            LOL.

Count me in as one of the Texans that didn't know you have to stop the heat completley and soak. What does this do for the bugs?
