Went riding on the river today not much to report. Bumped into the GW and had our usual 30 second chat. They were checking licenses because when I rounded the corner and started slowing down he was writing up a family in a small Jon Boat. I had no rods, they said just out for a boat ride? I smiled and said yes sir. They did a quick glance at my registration and I showed him a life jacket and they said have a nice day.

Caught 4 cats on some jugs though!! picked them up a mile south of where I bumped into the GW. Finally found the spot, it only took me all summer!!

If you want to do some jug fishing you need to go to Livingston. That lake is great for Catfishing.

I have 6 jugs I toss out as I'm running up the river after an hour or two on my way back in I'll stop and pick them up. Most of the time there's nothing there but I guess I found the spot!
