This morning was my first time on the water in a few weeks. Recently we've been plagued with extremely high tides and/or high NE winds, so I elected to wait for the conditions to moderate. When I arrived at the ramp, I noticed the tides were still somewhat elevated so I didn't have very high expectations. But to my surprise, results were better than expected. I boxed eight trout to 18"; all caught in about four feet of water over scattered shell.

Nice!!! I was starting to think that you didn't like to fish anymore. Back in the day, winds had to be gusting to 35 knots before we even thought about standing down.

I guess I'm becoming more selective in my old age.

First two came on bone Super Spook Jr. When the topwater bite played out, I switched to live bait (piggies)
