I fished East Matagorda Bay Saturday morning starting at my first spot at 4am. fishing the full moon over shell and mud mixed on the bottom in about 2 foot of water. The tide was about 2 foot above normal and the fish seemed to be scattered a bit. The fishing was slow until around 9:30 then the feeding frenzy began. I had 15 trout and 1 redfish all caught on a pearl skitter walker. I was keying on shrimp and finger mullet. All fish were released. The trout are really starting to put on weight gorging on shrimp.
