I know this area is/was heavily fished, but has anyone had much luck lately?
I went there about this time last year and murdered the sheepheads (which I love to eat) but had very little success with the trout and reds.
also looking for another spot that holds sheepies.

i fished 8 mile yesterday and caugh a under sized flounder on a 3in gulp shrimp

I have really good luck this time of year on nice sized reds and flounder - pretty much solely on gulp shrimp and swimming mullet
